Well, it has happened and I hope it doesn't go any further than this. The Change man has apparently secured the democratic nomination for President.  I used to think - anyone but Hillary. I WAS WRONG.

The more I hear about Obama, what he believes, what he knows - the more concerned I become that he might actually get elected.  His healthcare plans, economic policy, foriegn policy - it is all enough to give any sane man much to be concerned about.

He wants change - it is a change of fools.

I am personally sick of our politicians not doing what needs to be done - while gas prices spiral into the stratosphere, they continue droning on about the non-event of global warming.  They need to get off of their collective butts, tell the socialist-communist-wacko-nutjob enviromentalists to take a hike while they get busy with the important business of this country.

It has been said that Newt is a man of ideas - not neccesarily all good; that if all his ideas were contained in a filing caninet, that his good ideas would be one file folder in the cabinet.  Personally, he has appeared to have a better track record than that with me, BUT THIS!

First, Barr running as a Libertarian seems to be a conflict with stated positions of his in the past.  He was very much for the war on drugs, against gay marriage, against abortion, etc...  Has he really changed his positions to be more in line with the LP or are his positions; past, present and future, just positions of political expediency?

Phillip Miles, of Conway, SC has been sentenced to 3+ years in prison for bringing a gift of rifle cartridges to a fellow pastor in Russia. Granted, Mr Miles did not declare the gift, but the sentence imposed by the Russian Court is excessive.

I encourage everyone to contact the State Department to request their further intervention in this matter.

It appears that Jimmy Carter has gone off the deep end or he is actually the most naive man in the world or maybe both if he thinks that any good will come out of his meeting with Hamas.  This is the most stupid thing I can ever recall an ex-President do; and of course he had to be from Georgia - kind of gives the whole state a black eye. 

Bell Bio-Energy of Tifton, GA has announced potentially the largest positive effect on energy availability yet............and the only people to carry the story are newspapers from Tifton and Macon, GA.

The announcement concerns a process of turning our trash intp hydrocarbons and then gas, oil, etc..  Not just a little oil - but billions of gallons a year.  Sounds like a story deserving widespread coverage to me.

Apparently the purpose of this act is to make us as poor as a resident of a third world nation.  If this is how he thinks as a Senatot, I sure don't want to see him as President.  NEWS WITH VIEWS STORY

Hillary is a repeat of the truth defecit that we had withe the first Clinton Administration - if her lips are moving, there is a good chance that she may be lying.  Lying about a simple checkable fact like the sniper fire in Bosnia would seem to be a symptom of agreater problem.

Does Hillary have the same problem with the truth as her husband. According to this article from WorldNet Daily she prepared a fraudalent legal brief that could have gotten her disbarred had it been submitted to a judge.
